Rockland County concert band

Located in beautiful Rockland County, New York (17 miles north of New York City), the Rockland County Concert Band is the county's only community band.

Founded in 1975, the Rockland County Concert Band, Inc. has been entertaining audiences with varied programs of classical, light classical, show tunes, movie themes, rock, jazz, and marches for over two decades.

The band performs a regular series of concerts at the Cultural Arts Center of Rockland Community College, and in addition, performs December holiday concerts throughout the county. The band also organizes a Tuba Christmas each year, held at various locations, and a series of outdoor concerts (including several fireworks concerts) during the summer months.

The band plays for various events, and civic functions throughout the year. We are a member of The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR).

As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit, community organization, the band is eligible to receive tax deductible donations used to continue and expand it's mission.
